In 2008, LALCV contributed $54,000 to winning candidates and ballot measures as well as spent $12,000 to host a debate between candidates for the Los Angeles County
Supervisor's Second District seat. LALCV endorsed winning candidates running for Los Angeles County Supervisor, as well as candidates in El Segundo, Culver City, Pomona,Maywood, and Torrance.
